Angel Locsin and Charice Are Nominated in the 2011 Shorty Awards

For two years in a row, Angel Locsin (@143redangel) is again nominated in the Actress Shorty Award Leaders category of the 3rd Shorty Awards - a competition for best producers of real-time content.

The "Imortal" star who is currently on third place is competing against Stana Katic of American TV series Castle who is now on top spot and Vampire Diaries lead female star Nina Dobrev on second place.




When asked about her nomination, the 25-year-old Kapamilya actress said, "Alam mo, I really have the best followers talaga. Sila kasi ang nagboboto. Wala akong idea. Siguro dahil 'yon ang paniniwala nila kaya ni-nominate nila ako sa Shorty.

"Nakakatuwa lang kasi kapag nakikita mo, mga taga-ibang bansa daw. Ako lang daw 'yong Pilipinong nakapasok do'n. Sana pumasok ako." she added.

There are 30 official categories for the 3rd Shorty Awards. Some of the categories include Actor, Actress, Customer Service, Design, Music, Entertainment, Health, News, Politics, Humor, Literature, Televison, Social Media, etc.

Meanwhile, Pinay international singing sensation Charice (@OfficialCharice) is vying for Celebrity Shorty Award Leaders category and is now on 17th spot following Britney Spears (@britneyspears) who is in 16th place.
