I just realized that I didn't explain what HDR is- The idea is to take a series of more or less 10 photos with different shuttle speeds and then composite them into one unique image that will capture all the light effect due of the high range of the natural light.

My first term on H1 expired on June 2002. I revalidated it and the second term also got expired as of June 2004. Since I was in US only for 3 years on that H1, is it possible to revalidate it again now, even I'm not working for company A now?

Lawyer received the I140 approval email filed on DEC 2006 yesterday. he has raised SR last month.
But I havent received any mail from CRIS and the USCIS website doesnt show the approval as well till now.
Has someone experienced like this before - lawyer getting it first and the uscis webisite took a long time to update if it did at all.
Any comments pls?

What do you mean? An approved I-140 suddenly got reversed decision and was denied? Haven't heard of such cases. Can you please show me the link? thanks!

This doesn't take into consideration any active filings. Eg. ROW countries are always current for EB2 and they can and will apply EB2 140 and 485 together, this goes on through out the year which would consume the visa number. General rule of thumb is ~10000-15000 visas will be available for India /China at the end of last quarter due to horizontal spillover.

EAD expiring tomorrow 9/21/2010.Can I continue to work? My renewal is still pending. I submitted EAD renewal application on 7/22/2010. If my employer is OK with EAD renewal application, can I continue work?

Hi,
I'm holding Bachelor's Degree from India and have 9 years of full time experience (6 years with previous employers + 3 years with current employer). Last year my employer initiated a process to file PERM. My employer had given all the specific details to our attorney firm to file my case in EB2. But our attorney screwed up everything and filed my case in EB3. My EB3 labor is approved (Section H, PERM job for Bachelors + 2 years of experience). I'm planning to file I140 with this EB3 PERM to facilitate my H1B extensions,etc.
Right now, my employer says that he can initiate another PERM with EB2 and later when we file I140 for the EB2 labor, we can make use of EB3's PD after its I140 approval. I understand that it has to be a different position for EB2. If we follow this case, at what stage I need to use my EB3's PD to port. I mean, do I need to have my EB3 I140 approved before filing EB2 PERM or have only when filing EB2 I140.
My another question is, how risky is this? I mean having applied for EB3 and EB2 from the same employer. What kinda repercussions we're heading into? What are the possiblities of getting audited for EB2 PERM ( I didn't get any audit for my EB3 PERM).
Do you think it's better to transfer visa to someone else after my EB3 I140's approval and start a fresh EB2 PERM from that employer?
I had gone thro a case study given in this forum but it's only after applying AOS(485). Mine is still at I140 stage.

It's going to get worse from here, atleast the good thing is people who are "breaking" the laws or working through loopholes will sober up and it might turn out to be a goodthing
as long as existing rules are followed it should be ok, the problem will arise if the protectionists come up with absurd compliances, hopefully there will be a balancing act that follows and works out for the better of the system.

Finally my 485 is approved,
" On July 26, 2007, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS"
Long wait is over....

If you work for sponsoring employer, your H1B is still valid, eventhough you enter with AP.
This is grey area and the interpretation can change any time. Please note that entering on AP is not same as entering with visa stamp.

I wondered what the first would look like if the background (horizon) were hidden. Then you did exactly that in the second one. I think I like it better when you can see more of the background. Without that, I found myself wondering what the fence was hiding. I thought more about what wasn't there than about what was.
The third is my favorite with a nice blend of colors as a backdrop for a story of numerous dead parts that used to be a functional whole.
I found the green grass distracting in the last image. After thinking about it for a while, I decided it was a story of a structure at the end of its life. The green grass seemed out of place because it was too alive and too close. Similar comment on the white (ceramic?). Everything else is worn, faded, rusted. Not sure if that makes sense. But the only life in the picture is way out on the horizon, far removed from this remote graveyard.
I like the setting. It reminds me of chasing pheasants in Iowa.

Does your Attorney says that counter will start from Aug 28, 2007 ?
Did he say anything about Aug 28, 2007 falling out of Aug 17, 2007 limit date for filing AOS and can that cause any issues?
I am still waiting for an answer from my Attorney. Will post the details here as soon as I hear anything from them.
