Is May 2 Holiday in The Philippines?

Regretfully not!

May 2, 2011 is a regular working day as confirmed by Presidential Spokesman Edwin Lacierda.

However, Lacierda also said that May 1, Labor Day, which falls on a Sunday is a Regular Holiday. Which means double pay to all those who will be working on that day.
