Rep. Weiner Has Angry Exchange With Capitol Hill Reporters Over Twitter Scandal

Looks like Weiner is getting hot under the collar with questions concerning Weinergate. To date, he hasn’t filed of police report of the alleged hack of his Twitter account.

That seems very strange to me.

Mediaite

One of Capitol Hill’s most media-friendly people, New York Rep. Anthony Weiner, seems to be souring on the subject of his Twitter account, brushing off questions about his Twitter feed and the photo of a man in his underwear that was sent from that account. “I’m not going to talk about this anymore,” Weiner said Tuesday afternoon, in an exchange with journalists CNN described as “angry.”

Erik Santos and Angeline Quinto Sing DZMM 25th Anniversary Jingle

“Prince of Pop” Erik Santos and “Star Power” Female Pop Superstar champion Angeline Quinto got the grand assignment of singing the 25th anniversary jingle of DZMM, the number one AM radio station in Mega Manila and the country’s leading cable news channel.

Erik and Angeline now join a prominent list of Filipino artists like Gary Valenciano, Sharon Cuneta, and international singing sensation Charice Pempengco who have sung the Jessie Lasaten-penned jingle.

Moreover, they will also star in the DZMM SilveRadyo station ID and perform with two prestigious musical ensembles - the Philippine PhilHarmonic Orchestra and the UP Concert Chorus. The former is considered one of the best orchestras in the whole Asia Pacific region while the latter has brought recognition the country numerous times in its 45-year existence.

Angeline, who was also the voice of ABS-CBN’s summer station ID, was elated to learn about her newest gig.

I’m really flattered. This is a huge honor for me. I grew up with DZMM so it’s a big thing that I’ll finally get to hear my voice there. I’m even happier because I get to work with Kuya Erik, who I am close with since ‘Star Power,’ where he was co-host,” Angeline shared.

Erik was also very thankful to be part of the project. “DZMM is a big institution. I’m very glad to be part of their 25th anniversary, and in the process I get to be part of their public service as well through singing,” he said.

In its 25 years, DZMM has been known for being first in news and in public service. It is also home to the country’s most revered and trusted broadcast journalists.

Relive the glory of DZMM SilveRadyo on the premiere of the new station ID, shot at the Cultural Center of the Philippines, featuring Erik Santos and Angeline Quinto in the coming flag-raising ceremony of ABS-CBN on Independence Day, June 12.

Red Riding Hood review : Dark Fantasy

By looking at the movie title, we know that this movie is adapted from a popular fairy tale, Little Red Riding Hood. Directed by Catherine Hardwicke, director of Twillight. Therefore, you can see some of the shadow element of Twillight in this film. However, this film didn't adapted the fairy tale version of Little Red Riding Hood but they transform it into a darker version of Red Riding Hood.

Little Red Riding Hood grown up, and now a pretty girl.

Red Riding Hood, the girl Valerie (Amanda Seyfried) is not a kid in this movie, she grown up and fell in love with a woodcutter, Peter (Shiloh Fernandez). However, her family want her to marry to Henry (Max Irons) who is grow in a richer family. And this movie is set in a village which is haunted by the curse of werewolf who will come to attack the village and kill from time to time. After a few incidents happened, they found out that the werewolf wants Valerie. So, they summon Father Solomon (Gary Oldman) to help them kill the werewolf.

Henry (Max Irons) and Peter (Shiloh Fernandez), the hunks in the film.

Two reasons to go for this film, the visual and movie setting which is really beautiful (the tree, the ice lake and forest, really fantasy!) and the twisted ending. To be honest, the twisted ending save the movie. If not, this will be a quite boring or not that interesting movie. We have a few young and hot actors and actress in this movie, like Amanda Seyfried, Max Irons and Shiloh Fernandez. Their acting is okay, and you know what, Max Irons is the son of popular actor Jeremy Irons. I'm looking forward for Shiloh Fernandez acting in the future. And their love triangle's like the Edward, Bella and Jacob's love combination in Twillight. If you want some awesome acting, there you go, Julie Christie the grandma and Gary Oldman Father Solomon are in this movie. However, I think that the werewolf can be modified to a better version, I don't know but it looks not so convincing that it is a werewolf for me.

Father Solomon (Gary Oldman), the guy who try to save the village from the werewolf in a wrong way.

Father Solomon is a very interesting character, he wears purple robe (The fashion senses, wow!), he has silver nails, and he has a giant elephant tool to torture the villager to be used in the "investigation". He's sexy too, haha just the opinion of mine because he is potrayed by "someone". The soundtrack in the movie is really nice as well as the costumes in this movie which is well designed. The rest is, uhm.....it's not as bad as we thought but it's not as good as we predicted. It's a so-so movie. Not the type of movie I like.

( PS : It's not that Twillight as they say, I think Catherine Hardwicke is really good at designing the movie settings, the costumes and the buildings in this movie. It's really impressive. Gary died, again. Sigh. )

Will Smith Dead, Not True!

Will Smith is not dead, just the victim of a nasty rumor that you may have seen on the Internet this weekend.

The Village Voice reports that the latest celebrity death hoax started on FakeAWish.com, which allows users to create a news story using an actor’s first and last name. After typing in “Will” and “Smith,” a few options pop up, including the story, “Will Smith falls to his death in New Zealand.” Twitter users helped spread the rumor using a link to an official looking story from “Global Associated News” over the weekend.

Debbie Wasserman: A Gift Of Stupidity, That Keeps On Giving...

This blog is firmly in favor of new DNC head Debbie Wasserman Schultz keeping her liberal gums flapping from now until election day.  She's a walking soundbite...for future Republican attack ads in 2012.

Last Friday I highlighted three individual acts of unbelievable stupidity by Wasserman, but hey - anyone can have a bad day, right?

But she sure seems to have a lot of them.  Right Wing News - which describes DWS as one of the most vitriolic, off base, half informed demagogues of the far left in America today - gives us the video and transcript below, where Debbie claims that Republicans want to make illegal immigration...illegal, showing clearly no understanding that, yes, to take up residence in a nation without explicit permission to do so is against the law:

We have 12 million undocumented immigrants in this country that are part of the backbone of our economy. And that, that is not only a reality but a necessity. And that it would be harmful if some — you know, the Republican solutions that I’ve seen in the last few years is that we should just pack them all up and ship them back to their own countries, and in fact it should be a crime and we should arrest them all. I mean that was in legislation that Jim Sensenbrenner advanced a couple of years ago.

They're the backbone of our economy?  Really?  What about hardworking, tax-paying, all-American workers - what are they, a freakin' drain?  And why, in a nation with millions upon millions unemployed, is the existence of 12 million illegals a "necessity"?    And Debbie , do you have any idea in the world that what you are describing - "undocumented" immigrants - is already a crime not only in America, but in virtually every single nation on the entire flipping planet?

It's hard, hard work to be this seriously stupid.  Give Debbie some props.  And when you start to worry about the 2012 elections, when the media tells you the Democrats have it all locked up, just think of Debbie, and the fact that this is the best the Democrats can offer America....

Religion of Peace stones beautiful teenager to death for...being a beautiful teenager

These guys hate their women almost - almost - as much as they hate Jews:

A teenage Muslim girl was stoned to death under 'Sharia law' after taking part in a beauty contest in Ukraine.

Katya Koren, 19, was found dead in a village in the Crimea region near her home.

Friends said she liked wearing fashionable clothes and had come seventh in a beauty contest.

Police have opened a murder investigation and are looking into claims that three Muslim youths killed her, claiming her death was justified under Islam.

One of the three - named as 16-year-old Bihal Gaziev - is under arrest and told police that Katya had 'violated the laws of Sharia'. Gaziev has said he has no regrets about her death.

No worries, Gaziev.  You've got a job waiting for you as the "Morality Minister" in the new government of Egypt, or perhaps in Greater Hamastan (formerly known as the West Bank)....if not, the Iranian "morality patrols" certainly have an entry-level position with you name on it...

Apple's cloud-based online service called "iCloud," kicks off next Monday during the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), as announced by the Company in today's press release.

CUPERTINO, California—May 31, 2011—Apple® CEO Steve Jobs and a team of Apple executives will kick off the company’s annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) with a keynote address on Monday, June 6 at 10:00 a.m. At the keynote, Apple will unveil its next generation software – Lion, the eighth major release of Mac OS® X; iOS 5, the next version of Apple’s advanced mobile operating system which powers the iPad®, iPhone® and iPod touch®; and iCloud®, Apple’s upcoming cloud services offering.

WWDC will feature more than 100 technical sessions presented by Apple engineers. Mac® developers will see and learn how to develop world-class Mac OS X Lion applications using its latest technologies and capabilities. Mobile developers will be able to explore the latest innovations and capabilities of iOS and learn how to greatly enhance the functionality, performance and design of their apps. All developers can bring their code to the labs and work with Apple engineers.

Although many are now anticipating this latest innovation, we still don’t know what truly it is and what it is capable of bringing.

iCloud could be the mythical iTunes streaming service or Apple’s version of DropBox, the amazing sync and storage service that currently glues together the whole iOS ecosystem along with its desktop service, or it could be yet another abortion of an Internet service, like Mobile Me, iDisk and Ping before it.

Let's wait and see...

A Well-Deserved Smackdown for "J Street"

J Street, if you haven't heard, is an anti-Israeli lobbying group made of of useful (Jewish) idiots, funded by George Soros, which endorse every Palestinian atrocity and condemn every act of Israeli self-defense, while claiming that only by complete surrender can Israel ever find peace.  Masquerading as a "pro-Israel" group, they are primarily made of of self-loathing American Jews, who have abandoned their Judaism for the socially convenient religion of Liberalism.  Shoot, these guys are so far out of it, as far as their alleged religion is concerned, that they don't even offer Kosher food at their confabs. I'm sure, however, if you wanted a bacon cheeseburger...

In all honesty, J-Street does little to promote their key reason for being,  that there is a division in American Jewish thought, that "mainstream" American Jews are more J Street than APAIC.  But they do offer outstanding cover to Democratic politicians, who want to appear to be pro-Israel while doing everything they can to undermine the Jewish state and strengthen their enemies.  Like Keith Ellison, for one.

The media gives J Street more credit than they are due, simply because they dovetail more with their personal views.  But to get an idea of the revulsion many ordinary Americans and Israelis feel with this stealth pro-Palestinian stalking horse, one could do no better than to read the words of Daniel Gordis.

Who is Gordis?  An American-born rabbi and Columbia University graduate (cum laude) who moved to Israel in 1998, of whom liberal Jeff Jeffrey Goldberg of the Atlantic has written, "If you asked me, 'of all the people you know, who cares the most about the physical, moral and spiritual health of Israel?' I would put the commentator and scholar Daniel Gordis at the top of the list."

So let's listen to Gordis take apart J Street.  From his remarks back in May, as he addressed J Street Leadership Mission to Israel and Palestine, I thought this was a classic smackdown of the arrogant liberalism that permeates J Street, as well as the editorial boards of the MSM and the current occupants of the White House:

As most of you know, I disagree strongly with much of what you do. But I think that we have an obligation to meet with people with whom we disagree.
...the vast majority of Israelis, if presented with a genuine opportunity to live side by side in a democratic, transparent, peaceful, demilitarized Palestine, would accept it.

So, assuming that’s what you also seek, I assume our disagreement is about how to get there. You believe that people who are not willing to make major territorial concessions to the Palestinians right now are not serious about a two-state solution. You think that those of us who claim that we favor a two-state solution but who are not willing to give up the store at this moment are bluffing. Or we’re liars. Or, at best, we’re well-intentioned but misguided. But bottom line, if we’re not willing now to make the concessions that you think are called for, then we’re not really pursuing peace.

But that is arrogance of the worst sort. Does your distance from the conflict give you some moral clarity that we don’t have? Are you smarter than we are? Are you less racist? Why do you assume with such certainty that you have a monopoly on the wisdom needed to get to the goal we both seek?

.... a perfect example of the certainty and arrogance of which I’m speaking....Reacting to the most recent Fatah-Hamas agreement, this is what J Street had to say: “In fact, many who oppose a two-state deal have, in recent years, done so by arguing that divisions among the Palestinians make peace impossible. Obviously, reconciliation [between Fatah and Hamas] reduces that obstacle – but now skeptics of a two state agreement have immediately stepped forward to say that a deal is impossible with a Palestinian unity government that includes Hamas.”

“Obviously,” you say, reconciliation reduces the obstacle to a peace treaty.

But I would caution you against ever using the word “obviously” when it comes to the Middle East. Nothing here is obvious. If you think that something is obvious, then you simply haven’t thought enough....

Perfect.  But I doubt it penetrated the ideologues that populate J Street.  Their goal - the subjugation of Israel to the Palestinians - is impervious to logic and reason...

BUMPED UPDATE-REVEALED Muslim girl, 19, 'stoned to death after taking part in beauty contest'

She was buautiful and didn't deserve to die because of Islamic stupitidy and backwardness!

3 youths in the Ukraine claim the killing was justified under Sharia law. Has any Liberal women’s groups like NOW ever released a statement condemning these so-called honor killings?

I don’t think so.

Maybe it’s because Islam is the chic religion of The Left. I’m just sayin’…

Killing Israeli children OK with Iran cleric

This is the mentality idiots at the UN and on The Left fail to acknowledge as they bash Israel whenever they do anything to defend themselves.

As we speak Iran is actively trying to develop a nuclear weapon. What is President Obama doing to stop it? During the presidential campaign he frequently said Iran getting a nuclear weapon would be a "game changer".

Witnessing the animosity Obama seems to have with Israel, I guess the game is gonna change with U.S. approval.

Evil words in Islamic Republic: A senior Iranian cleric, who is known as President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's spiritual mentor, urged followers to continue suicide attacks against Israelis, including children.

Ayatollah Mohammad Taghi Mesbah, considered one of the Islamic Republic's most radical clerics, issued a religious edict on his website whereby suicide attacks are not only legitimate but are a must for every Muslim, a special paper by the Middle East Media Research Institute shows.

Why do some Younger Men like Older Women?

Older woman with younger man romance or marriage is not a matter of awe anymore. Many men have found love, harmony and happiness with older women. Nowadays age is no more a criteria when it comes to matters of the heart. Earlier that was not the case and the woman involved in such a relationship was considered a ‘cradle snatcher’. Actually what makes guys attracted to older woman? The below mentioned may be some reasons or benefits of having a older woman as partner.
•Maturity and Confidence: The older women bring a sense of maturity and confidence into the relationships. Older Woman has more experience with men and is more stable compared with younger women and men feel more comfortable with them. Young women tend to be more fickle minded compared to mature women. Mature women know what they want and are much responsible in handling relationship. Older women by default bring more life experiences into the relationship and therefore nurture the growth of their partner without trying to be in command of the relationship.
•Older women are taboo: This factor makes young men attracted to them. Our Society is used to see older men and younger woman more than the other way round and thereby offer more acceptance to such relationships. The normal tendency of people is that they want what they cannot have or what is a ‘forbidden fruit’.
•Lesser Competition: Young women may have several men chasing after them. Older women offer an alternative. Also to an older woman a young man feels more attractive and boost to her ego that she tends to shower her attraction on him. Also there are many liberated and attractive older women known colloquially as ‘cougars’ hunting for younger guys in places like the internet or bars looking for some fun life of a single and are easily available.•Taking Charge: Young men do not have much experience with women and may not know what to expect with women. And it helps to have ‘take charge’ kind of women as a partner who has already been in the same situation earlier. Many people also agree to the fact that sex gets better with age and getting an experienced partner is considered a plus because older women know what they want and they have experience towards pleasing a man. Older Woman also mostly takes care of the fact that they don’t get pregnant by using contraceptive pills to protect them.
•Intelligent and Confident: People gain more confidence as they grow older. Many young men find older woman attractive as tend to be less superficial. A conversation with an older woman can be interesting and intellectual whereas majority of younger woman tend to be silly, immature and sometimes shallow.
•Independence: Majority of Older women is financially independent and has successful careers. Men like it when his partner is self-sufficient and self-supportive and don’t need him to take care of her.
•The need for Mothering: It is said that all males have a child in them. An Older woman can easily fulfill that need in them.
•Attraction and Love: While some may find it odd that some young man surrounded by girls his age would find an older woman attractive. This is because they many older women are attractive and may even find romance or love in them. How many men can resist 40+ women like Uma Thurman or Mimi Rogers or the Indian actress Maduri Dixit?

Ja Rule To Serve Two Years in Prison Due to Weapon Charges

American actor-rapper Ja Rule (Jeffrey Atkins in real life) is scheduled to serve a two-year prison sentence starting June 8 after pleading guilty to attempted criminal possession of a weapon at a New York court in December.

It will be recalled that authorities have they found a loaded .40-caliber semiautomatic gun in his Maybach sports car in July 2007 after his concert with Lil Wayne, who was detained separately and already completed an 8-month prison sentence after reaching a plea deal regarding the case.

On top of the weapon charges, the Grammy nominated artist could face more prison time after admitting he failed to pay taxes on more than $3 million in income.

He is scheduled to be sentenced on June 13 on three tax evasion charges and faces up to one year in prison and $100,000 in fines on each count.

But one day before going to prison, the rapper is set to release his latest album "The Renaissance Project".

"I just want to put it out to the world before I go in," Ja Rule told The Life Files. "It's funny because, I'm about to go to jail, and my main concern is to make sure that I get this album done and out there for the fans."

Ja Rule also made an effort to reconcile with another well-known rapper 50 Cent.

"It's resolved now," Ja Rule said. "I'm cool. We ain't beefing no more. We'll never collaborate. That's just what it is... We don't gotta go to war, but we're not friends either. But we can coincide inside of a world. He's doing him, and he's not thinking about me, and I'm doing me and I'm not thinking about him."
